Andrey Fedorovich Tarasevich: life can be felt more brightly, diversely, tastily, and intensely

At 60 years old, Andrey Fedorovich's biological age was 40. He trains daily, has run a 50 km ultramarathon, and manages several projects simultaneously. He has an incredible number of ideas, plans, and strategies, and he has the strength and energy for all of them. Read how he achieved this in our exclusive interview.

Energy in the body and neurons
Usually, it's personal health problems that lead a person to change their lifestyle. It was the same for Andrey Fedorovich. He was able not only to improve his well-being but also to take it to a whole new level thanks to the MITO-approach.

– I have been living with a low-carb nutritional strategy for 10 years now, since 2014. During this time, I ran a 50-kilometer ultramarathon. I have a workout every day. At the same time, at 60 years old, I practically feel like I'm 40. These are my inner sensations.

My biological age matches my inner feelings—that's the first thing. On the level of cognitive functions, today I have quite a few projects that I couldn't even dream of 10 years ago—that's the second. Third: I have an extremely large number of plans for the next 10 years. This became possible because I have enough energy both in my physical body and in my neurons. I am strategically building my life 10 years ahead with increasingly exciting plans and strategies. And all of this is thanks to a low-carb nutritional strategy.
Two people out of ten
Observing his peers, classmates, and fellow students, Andrey Fedorovich was surprised to discover that only two out of ten continue to lead an active social, professional, and physical life.

– Two people out of ten! This is yet another confirmation of what a low-carb nutritional strategy means in the context of actively preserving your professional life and professional longevity. It also affects personal relationships. On a low-carb nutritional strategy, as strange as it may sound, you feel life, personal relationships, and relationships with family, loved ones, and friends more brightly, diversely, tastily, and intensely. This also has an explanation in the physiology and biochemistry of how our body functions on a low-carb nutritional strategy.
Only a lazy doctor won't talk about this
According to Andrey Fedorovich, a low-carb nutritional strategy, correction of mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress, and lifestyle medicine in general are the mainstream of today and the foundation of tomorrow's medicine.

– I assure you, in 5 years, only a lazy doctor won't be saying that they are working on modifying their patient's lifestyle. Why? Because that's the only way a doctor can get those stunning results that the patient expects. The kind of results every doctor needs so they don't burn out in their daily professional work. Over the last 20 years, we've clearly seen how the medical world's attitude toward the topic of lifestyle or lifestyle modification is changing. This is evident in the global medical community, the Russian medical community, and in the statements made by heads of state, health ministers, and directors of research institutes. The prospects for this direction are simple, clear, and, most importantly, explainable. As soon as a doctor adds lifestyle treatment to conventional treatment—meaning modifying eating behavior, physical body behavior, normalizing sleep, and anti-stress therapy—the treatment results will immediately increase.
Simple rules for everyone
Andrey Fedorovich gave simple tips that will help support the mitochondrial health of every person.

– First is the transformation of eating habits, specifically a low-carb nutritional strategy. Second is regular physical activity appropriate for age, gender, health status, lifestyle, and specific living conditions, consisting of three types: aerobic training, anaerobic/strength training, and high-intensity interval training. And third, of course, is sleep hygiene. For every person. Then we can say that this person will be 80% filled with energy, and accordingly, the mitochondrial pool of their entire body and each individual organ will function at the highest possible level.
